Feed Burner
I now have a new way for you to follow my blog, if you’re at all interested. If you have a news reader, you can go here:
http://feeds2.feedburner.com/NealTucker. Feed Burner is a way of syndicating and spreading the good word of your blog simply, easily, and quickly. You can post a quick link or an image pretty much anywhere, and it keeps track of your stats, too, if you want it too. Two other great things about it: it’s free, and Google owns it now, so it’s integrated. When I went to the page, shortly after I had been to my Gmail, it said something like, “Welcome, nealtucker@gmail.com!” In any event, it looks neat, so I thought I’d give it a shot. It’s also a really fast way to find the Atom or XML feeds, or whatever you wanna call it, without too much hassle. Okay, off to dinner and then rehearsal.
Talk soon,
Neal

Netflixbox 360?
I love my
Netflix account. I enjoy
XBOX 360 , even though I don’t own one, and I think I like the
Wii better for me, because I’m not a hardcore gamer, like this guy, who, if you haven’t seen play computer games HARDCORE, you should.
Here (Mom, if you’re reading this, this does have some language…and I love you).
However, that being said, I’m all about finding new ways to get Netflix online movies to play better and faster and bigger – meaning, of course, on my TV. If the new XBOX does that, then fine. But I think I’d probably personally stick with the Netflix Player by Roku.
If anyone has actually tried any of these or knows someone who has, please let me know, b/c I am willing to risk a Christmas gift on it. :)
I found out about all this at
newser.com , the best quick way to get up to speed on the news – IMHO.
Weekend shopping foray update
I got a few of the things I posted about earlier in the weekend. I got the boots and the printer. However, the printer is actually a little better than the one below, because it’s a photo-printer. It’s still HP, so that’s good. And the best part about it all, Ash’s parents bought it all. They didn’t have to, of course, but they did, which was amazing. I had no idea they were going to buy my boots, so that was a great surprise. I had been told they would buy the printer, but that was still awesome.
Here’s the printer.
So, in addition to Nordstrom’s (boots) and Best Buy (printer), we also went to The Home Depot and got our VERY FIRST CHRISTMAS TREE! YEAYAYAY! … yup. It’s 4′-6″ tall, and it has lights already on it, for the lazy American in all of us. Now all we need is Thanksgiving to come and go, and then the four weeks after that, and some ornaments, presents, and SNOW, and we’ll have CHRISTMAS 2008!!! I think I might make t-shirts.
This is the closest thing to the tree we bought I could find on
homedepot.com.
If anybody has any ornament ideas, let me know.
