Sorry for my long delay in responding. Glad to see we're staying in touch, if only through the netherworld. Nothing new of late. Too busy with work and sorting out my head after the move. Not even blogging much the past few months, though I did post today. I do have some theatre news, which I will be sharing shortly will all my Chicagoland theatre buddies. Just waiting for particulars. Unfortunately, I won't be coming out for the event--a one-night staged reading of a full-length. It's no Stoppard, that's for sure. But it's never been read or produced before so it's still exciting.

How is the acting going for you?

Hey Nicole!

Thanks for responding! :) My wife is from Acworth, and she went to The Walker School. I'm actually from Birmingham, so I'm not super familiar with Georgia geography. Are you familiar with Acworth?

Thanks, Michael. :D

Coincidentally, we had a nice, long conversation in my dream last night. I don't remember what it was about, but I'd be wiling to bet it had something to do with theatre. Are you writing anything currently?

Michael! Sorry I'm just now getting to your comment! How is it going on the East Coast? And I'm sorry I didn't link to it. I try to link the crap out of my posts, but I forgot... Haha. I hope all is well!

Dude, you have to link to the other site when you mention it! Don't make me hunt for it. Glad things are going well in the Windy City. I miss it, especially in the summer...

I'm wondering if you are the Michael Burgan who wrote "The American Newsboy"? If you are I would appreciate having the opportunity to speak with you. I am the founder of Out of Town News, the kiosk in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA and was a newsboy for over 40 years of my life. I've also studied newspapers from all over the world. I would like to know if you've done other books on newsboys. I was quite impressed with your book - as was my brother who gave me a copy of the book. If you are you (!?!) and have a spare moment please call me at 617-520-6001. Thank you very much.

YES, please read it! It's wonderful. I'm just now in "Part 2," and it keeps getting better and better. Also, I, too, feel closer to you because of your new C.S. Lewis anthology. I think that Clive and I have a bond that seeps through the pores of the pages in his books.
